What is the principle of UV digital inkjet printer?


1. It has hundreds or more piezoelectric crystals to control multiple spray holes on the nozzle plate respectively, which are processed by the CPU, and then output a series of electrical signals to each piezoelectric crystal through the driving plate. The piezoelectric crystal is deformed, the volume of the liquid storage device in the structure will suddenly change, and the ink will be sprayed out of the nozzle and fall on the surface of the moving object to form a dot matrix, To form words, numbers or graphics.


2. After the ink is discharged from the nozzle, the piezoelectric crystal returns to its original state. Due to the surface tension of the ink, new ink enters the nozzle. Because the ink dot density per square centimeter is very large, the application of UV inkjet printer can print high-quality text, complex logo, bar code and other information. Connecting to the database can realize variable data inkjet.


3. UV ink is generally composed of 30-40% of the main resin, 20-30% of the active monomer, and a small amount of photoinitiator, leveling agent, defoamer and other additives. Its curing principle is a complex photoreactive curing process: after the photoinitiator absorbs the corresponding purple light, UV ink generates free radicals or cationic monomers, polymerizes and crosslinks, and instantly changes from liquid to solid. UV ink can be dried quickly after it is irradiated by ultraviolet light in a certain range and frequency. UV inkjet printer has the characteristics of fast drying, good adhesion, no blockage of nozzle, easy maintenance and so on.
